Description
Shikakai (Acacia concinna), nicknamed “fruit for hair,” is derived from sun-dried pods, leaves, or bark of a climbing shrub native to India . Traditionally used as a natural shampoo, it’s been a staple in Ayurvedic hair care for centuries
Uses of Shikakai Powder:

As a Shampoo:
Mix 1–2 tablespoons of Shikakai Powder with warm water to make a paste. Apply to scalp and hair, gently massage, and rinse off. -
As a Hair Mask:
Combine with Amla and Reetha powders for a complete herbal treatment. Leave on for 20–30 minutes, then rinse. -
As a Hair Rinse:
Boil 1 tablespoon in water, strain, cool, and use as a final rinse after washing hair.
